They could be used on the internet on websites, forums, blogs and other widely used places such as Myspace.  They brighten up a page and can make a statement sometimes more than a hundred words.  They can also be made to be printed for a multitude of purposes. 

There is no end to how useful graphics can be and what a difference they make.  Imagine sending someone a bunch of flowers, instead of the normal boring card with your name on, how about a laminated image personalised to them?  You name, their name, I love you, Will you marry me? Congratulations on Baby Bertie's arrival, an actual picture of the person and the occasion?  How surprised would they be?  Small things such as this aren't thought about often but can make all the difference in the world.
