About me, ooh where do I start?

This will be difficult as I am not someone who likes to actually talk about themselves so I guess this will just be a bit of an outline as to who I am and what I am all about.

I am at the minute 38 years old and I come from the era of glam rock and changing times, this has always stayed with me, love all things 70s and most things 80s.  Didn't really do the 90s and even though we are at the tail end of the 00s, I dunno how much I participated in this decade either, lol.

I love my music, am very passionate about the music that I like, could be anything between 50's rock n roll to the bands I go to see now such as The Used, My Chemical Romance and HIM.

The only music that really doesn't interest me is R n B and all the manufactured bands of the day, the big pop groups.  Just not my kinda thing.

I live in Yorkshire with my family, my hubby, three kids and assorted pets.  We have been joined this very week by my first grandchild Evie and she has caused us all to be ridiculously tired and behind with everything but we wouldn't have it any other way, she is well worth it.

I am a person of simple pleasures, I like to be at home, like to be with the family, although I don't tell them that.  I like to relax and hang out online a little bit, I like listening to the music that I love and I like a good British film.  I like to catch up with people I haven't seen for a long time, that's probably because I am a nosey moo but it's good fun all the same.

I like the PG Tips Monkey - I like to call him Munky!!  We have a special connection he and I, lol, that's what he likes to be called. 

I have collected a few Munkies over the last couple of years, I have had to restrain myself and haven't bought any at all all of this year, 2009 so have been a very good girl!  I was running out of space for them all.  Come on who doesn't love Munky?

I like to mess about a bit and build websites for myself or for friends and family or for clubs, bands and organisations locally.  I find it a good way to relax and it keeps me occupied.  Keep the brain cells ticking over.

I enjoy more of the old shows on TV than the new ones, sit me down in front of The Professionals any day and I will be happy.  Like the old 70s and 80s shows.  I like comedy, I love Eddie Izzard and have followed him for many years, shame he doesn't get to tour so much now, just saw his latest one a couple of weeks ago and already have the DVD, thing just move so fast these days, how old am I? Haha!

I love Cannon and Ball.  I loved them as a kid, grew up watching them and like a lot of people watched them over and over, recorded the shows from the TV and have clung onto them for all these years. 

 

I am now lucky enough to be able to say that I know Bobby and Tommy and they are still the very same as they always have been seen to be on the TV, lovely blokes and I am happy to be able to say that

I have created, built and run the Cannon and Ball website and the accompanying Fan Network and am very happy to do so. 

It is lovely to be able to give them something back for all the laughs and enjoyment they have given to us over the years.  Long may they continue to do so.

It was December when I re-built this site and therefore was wishing people a Happy Christmas and had on here a piccie of my lovely gothic angel from the top of my tree. 

Upon updating the site, I just couldn't bear to take her down as she is so purty!  I love my Christmas Angel.

I am sure that I will find other things to rattle on about on this page but I will add them as they come to me.

I don't know what else I have to offer for this page but if I find anything, I will make sure it ends up here

I am not sure what else there is to know about me but if there is anything else comes to mind, I will be sure to get in on here.
